DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy hockey lineup – March 23, 2018
By Riley Butler
High Salary Goalies
Matt Murray, NJ vs PIT ($8,300): Coming off of a 4-1 loss to Islanders in his first game back against from a concussion, Murray looked good but didn’t receive the offensive help he needed to win. The Penguins looked to have fixed that issue after beating the Canadiens 5-3 on Wednesday and they have a favorable matchup going into tonights game — the Devils will be playing back-up Keith Kinkaid. Murray has missed some time this year due to a multitude of issues, both physical and mental, but has continued to be strong fantasy choice and should only get better as the playoffs approach. ****
Connor Hellebuyck, ANA vs WIN ($8,100): The Jets net minder has been nothing short of fantastic in his recent games. In hist last seven games, Hellebuyck has only posted a GAA below .930 once. With the Jets firmly in a playoff spot and with the offensive advantage that the Jets bring in comparison to the Ducks, this game is a real chance for Hellebuyck to post another big night. On the season, Hellebuyck owns a record of 37-11-9, has a GAA of 2.34 and a SV% of .925. *****

High Value Goalies
John Gibson, ANA vs WIN ($7,600): John Gibson continues his absolutely red-hot streak going into tonight’s game. The Ducks starter is coming off of a 29-save shutout against the Flames on Wednesday and has recorded two shutouts and four wins in his last four games. This all while only allowing four goals in that span. He is without a doubt a priority selection when it comes to goalies right now and should be considered in all lineups. On the season he is 29-17-6 with a 2.41 GAA and a SV% of 9.27. *****
Carey Price, MON vs DAL ($7,400): Even through all the struggles and injury problems this year, I can’t turn my back on the best goalie in the league. Carey Price has not been his usual self this year but the man can only handle so much shelling before he breaks down and that is the unfortunate reality of this season. Price is due for a good game not only for his sake but for the league’s sake and in facing a Sabres team that is arguably as poor as the Canadiens, this is the best chance of any. ***
