High Salary C
Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN at NY ($10,600): Towns has been over value in his last two and is coming off a 54.3 fantasy point effort against the Clippers on Tuesday. He had 54.5 fantasy points against the Knicks on Jan. 12. The Knicks are sixth against the position in their last 15 games, but they have no one who can handle Towns when he gets rolling. With Minnesota realizing he’s the top option, he should be rolling without a problem on Friday. ****
Jonas Valanciunas, TOR vs BKN ($7,400): Valanciunas has missed value in his last two and it would have been three if he was available on Sunday against Oklahoma City. But fear not, the Nets are coming to town. He had 46.3 fantasy points against the Nets on Mar. 13 and the last time we saw Brooklyn play, they were giving up a ESPN documentary to Dwight Howard. Look for Valanciunas to bounce back over value, putting up a big scoring and rebounding game, even in limited minutes. ****
Steven Adams, OKC vs MIA ($7,000): Adams was down to 24.4 fantasy points against the Celtics on Tuesday. His value is still largely tied to how often Russell Westbrook gets him the ball, but given the matchup, there is a good chance he feeds Adams more often than usual in this one. The Heat are 27th against the position in their last 15 games and with no Hassan Whiteside, Adams can use his strength against Bam Adebayo or Kelly Olynyk. He should be around 30 fantasy points in this contest. ***
