Mike Bibby is taking a page out of the Uncle Drew playbook by going incognito and schooling some unknowing ballers on their own courts.

If you watched the NBA any time from 1998 to the early to mid 2000’s then more than likely you need no introduction to who Mike Bibby is. The point guard enjoyed a successful career in the league, playing his most successful ball for the Sacramento Kings from 2001-2008. He was a very well-known and respected player within the league for many years.

Bibby has been out of the league for a little bit now since, his retirement with the New York Knicks in 2012. It’s understandable that a new wave of NBA fans wouldn’t be able to recognize him like they would be able to Russell Westbrook or Steph Curry.

Unfortunately for some local Arizona basketball players though, they had to learn who Bibby was the hard way, at the hands of the man himself with a prank taken straight from the Uncle Drew playbook.

Bibby told these two players who had no idea who he was that his name was Chris and proceeded to completely school the two in a game of 21. The poor guys had no idea what was coming to them and have faced some light-hearted roasting from the internet and social media.

These guys shouldn’t feel too bad though, Bibby is still very active in the game of basketball.

Bibby has taken the coaching route since leaving the league, returning to his former high school Shadow Mountain High School. He has taken the team and turned them into one of the most well-known basketball prep schools in the country.

He also joined the Ghost Ballers of the BIG3, the 3-on-3 basketball league created by Ice Cube at the start of 2017.
