Average drivers (between $8,000 and $9,000)

Ryan Blaney ($8,700) – On the expensive end of this group, but he’s also been the most consistent top-10 finisher. A safe play if you can afford him, though it should also be noted he didn’t have a history of strong finishes while he was in the 21 at Martinsville, so you’re rolling the dice on the car as much as him.

Clint Bowyer ($8,300) – If you’re coin-flipping between him and his Stewart-Haas Racing teammate, Kurt Busch, we like Bowyer based on what he did last season, where he finished seventh and third.

Erik Jones ($8,100) – Like Blaney, you’re saying you expect Jones to be improves over his previous team this year in this race if you play him. He’s also $600 cheaper and is starting further back, and he’s been a top-10 magnet.
