The Seattle Seahawks stripped it down this offseason, letting go of not only coaches, but also veteran talent like Richard Sherman. As they enter the 2018 season, they have more questions than any other team in the NFC West, and could actually find themselves finishing at the bottom of the division. They need to bring in some talent in the secondary to replace Sherman, and luckily for them, Mike Hughes should be available this late in round one.

Hughes is a great talent from UCF, where he developed a reputation as a big-time playmaker. Not only was he one of the better cornerbacks in college football last season, but he also was an electric return man for the team. The Seahawks need to bring in players who can be versatile within their defense and special teams, and Hughes checks off both boxes.

The Seahawks could be down next season, but they do still have Russell Wilson at quarterback. Injuries really hurt them last season, as they failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2011. That trend may continue in 2018, as they just do not have the depth they once had. Paying a lot of money to your quarterback really strips you of what you can do at other positions, and we are seeing that in Seattle.
