2. Jamie Vardy leads Leicester to victory over Brighton

Leicester travel to Brighton on Saturday looking to extend their Premier League unbeaten run to four matches. The Seagulls look like they’ll avoid relegation this season, a big achievement for a side many expected to go down.

However, this weekend they’ll have trouble getting all three points with in-form Jamie Vardy coming to town. Vardy has eight goals in his last 11 games and his form is looking very promising for the World Cup in a couple of months.

England fans will be happy for that form in June, but right now it’s Leicester that are benefiting from it. After his amazing performances during Leicester’s title-winning season, some questioned whether Vardy could keep it up, but he’s managed at least double figures in the past two seasons.

Brighton will have a tough job keeping the pacey striker out, and if there’s anyone that’s going to get a goal this weekend it’s Vardy. A win would see Leicester put pressure on seventh-place Burnley, who are only three points ahead of the Foxes in the table.
