FanDuel baseball lineup and picks for Friday, March 30
Sample Lineup
P- David Price, $8,500
C/1B – Chris Iannetta, $2,200
2B – Javier Baez, $3,400
3B – Zach Cozart, $3,000
SS – Trea Turner, $4,700
OF – Charlie Blackmon, $4,000, Corey Dickerson, $2,600 and Adam Eaton, $3,100
Utility – Khris Davis, $3,500
The great factor in this slate is that there are virtually no really expensive starting pitchers. If you take away Scherzer in Cincinnati, no pitcher is over $9,500. Even then, Robbie Ray is in a pretty dangerous spot today. Could he show up and dominate? Sure but it also isn’t likely. The high priced guys just don’t seem worth it today.
The sample lineup does exclude Bryce Harper to make things a little easier to see how balanced the lineup can be. However, it does have elements of the early games involved. There should be plenty of options to build a lineup on just the main slate.
Next: Every MLB team’s Mount Rushmore
For instance, you could easily swap Corey Dickerson for Josh Reddick and then move Trea Turner down Corey Seager. This still leaves you with a nice range of money to spend on the Utility spot. I’ll reiterate once again that Harper is likely the number one position player if you play the all day. He’s just in too good of a spot to ignore. If you plan on not playing him, don’t worry and just play the main slate which starts at 7:00 pm.
The other options for the Utility spot include Anthony Rendon, Rafael Devers, Trevor Story and Ryan Zimmerman. There’s going to be plenty to choose from. As always, may fortune be on your side and make sure to follow me on Twitter @bucn4life as MLB allows late swap. If there’s a late scratch and/or lineup cards aren’t put in for the late games, this article will always be updated on Twitter ASAP.
