The Saints could always use help in the secondary, well, because they’re the Saints. A good get for them in the fifth round at No. 147 could be Penn State Nittany Lions cornerback Christian Campbell. Campbell is 6-foot-1 and weighs 195 pounds. He has 33 1/2 arms ands 8 3/4 hands.

One player that was ultra-productive in the SEC for the South Carolina Gamecocks was linebacker Skai Moore. He could go to the Saints here at No. 164 in the fifth round. He is 6-foot-2, 226 pounds. He has 32-inch arms and 9 3/8 inch hands. Moore ran a 4.73 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

Sixth Round

The Saints will need to address the wide receiver position in the latter stages of this NFL Draft. One guy they could take at No. 189 in the sixth round is J’Mon Moore out of Missouri. Moore is 6-foot-3, 207 pounds. He has 32 7/8 inch arms and 9 3/8 inch hands. Moore ran a 4.6 in the 40-yard dash at the combine and put up 21 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press.

It looks like the Saints will double-down with a wide receiver set in the sixth round. After taking Moore out of Missouri at No. 189, look for the Saints to draft Ray-Ray McCloud at No. 201 out of Clemson. McCloud is 5-foot-9, 190 pounds with 30 1/4 inch arms and 9 1/4 hands. He ran a 4.53 40-yard dash and put up 13 reps at 225 on the bench press.

Seventh Round

The Saints already have an excellent center in Max Unger. However, it would serve them to take a flyer on a player like center Cameron Dillard at No. 245 in the seventh round. Dillard is 6-foot-4, 313 pounds. In his four years with the Florida Gators, Dillard won two SEC East titles during the Jim McElwain era of the football program.
