The Masters are only four days away, and despite not having won a major since taking the U.S. Open in 2008, Tiger Woods is the favorite at Augusta.

It seemed that the dream was dead. Tiger Woods was almost assured to break Jack Nicolaus’ record of 18 major championships, notching 14 a decade ago. At the time, Woods was a young man in a game that caters to age nicely, only sitting at 32 years old.

Now, Woods remains in search of his 15th major, and for the first time in some time, one o the greatest players to ever live is the favorite. While Woods has not won a tournament this year, he’s shown well with a revamped swing. The California native is getting 9/1 odds from Las Vegas to win another Green Jacket, one that would be the fifth of his illustrious career.

Woods comes in with some stiff competition, though. Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy are both at 11/1, while Dustin Johnson (23/2) and Jordan Spieth (12/1) are in them as well. If you are looking for a big name at a tie price, look no further than Jason Day at 20/1, who both has a terrific game suited for Augusta, and the pedigree of being a major champion.

Golf has seen a nice spike in the ratings over the past few weeks, as Woods has become a growing story. While it can be argued whether or not Woods is a person worth rooting for, it’s undeniable what his presence means for the game and its sponsors.
