DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 3, 2018
High Value SF
Robert Covington, PHI vs BKN ($6,000): Covington had 50.75 fantasy points against the Hornets on Sunday. With Dario Saric and Joel Embiid out, he’s the next best option behind Ben Simmons for the Sixers. Like Simmons, the only concern for Covington is minutes. He’ll put up big numbers for as long as he plays and needs only 26.6 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. He’ll hit that number, even in limited minutes, and if he plays 30-plus minutes, a big game should be expected. ****
Harrison Barnes, DAL vs POR ($6,000): Barnes has been over value in five of his last six and is coming off a 43.25 fantasy point effort against the Cavaliers. He had 38.75 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers on Jan. 26 and needs 26.6 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. He’s been extremely consistent this season and is guaranteed value every night with a chance that he’s well over value if he’s hot from the field. Portland has a tough defense, but Barnes will get his. ***
Justise Winslow, MIA vs ATL ($4,900): There are a lot of question marks in the Miami frontcourt right now, but it appears as if Winslow will get consistent playing time moving forward. He’s played over 25 minutes in the last three games, while Hassan Whiteside and Kelly Olynyk are fighting over minutes. He needs 21.7 fantasy points to reach value and should be over that number, assuming he gets 25-plus minutes again. ***
