FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 5, 2018
High Value PG
Quinn Cook, GS at IND ($6,000): Cook has been up-and-down in recent games. He was down against the Thunder on Tuesday, finishing with 24.6 fantasy points in that contest. He needs 26.6 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. He’s playing big minutes alongside Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, which certainly helps his value. It’s a tough matchup, but Cook has the ability to produce. He may be slightly under value, but he’ll deliver a solid performance. ***
Tyus Jones, MIN at DEN ($3,800): Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose are questionable for Thursday. If either of them play, Jones doesn’t look quite as attractive. But if Teague is out, Jones makes for a great option at this price. If Rose plays, you can still take Jones with some confidence simply because Rose isn’t very good. Although you may take a flier on him with his offensive ability against a questionable defensive group. If Jones starts, he’ll be well over the 16.8 fantasy points he needs for value. ****
Shabazz Napier, POR at HOU ($3,600): Damian Lillard is unlikely to play on Thursday, which means Napier should draw the start. He wasn’t great in his start against Memphis on Mar. 28, finishing with 14.2 fantasy points in that game, But otherwise he’s done well in starting duty with Lillard out. At this price, knowing he’s the start and will get plenty of offensive opportunities, he’s a good bet. ***
