As WrestleMania 34 season nears an end, WWE fans will wonder where and when they can catch the next installment of the big event.

Every year, WWE puts on an absolute spectacle, with WrestleMania dominating different venues each April like they’re the NFL with the Super Bowl. All WrestleManias are special, and if you’re looking toward the future, WrestleMania 35 should be no different.

While WrestleMania 34 is back in New Orleans like it was for WrestleMania 30, WrestleMania 35 will also see WWE superstars and fans return to a venue that once played host to a historic ‘Mania of its own.

East Coast cities tend to get the short end of the stick with WrestleManias due to the possibility of some cold weather, but 2019 will see some wrestling return to one of the more important areas in WWE’s history. Much like it did for WrestleMania 29, WWE will invade MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on April 7, 2019.

MetLife Stadium last saw WrestleMania five years ago in 2013 for a historic night, all topped off by the second and final match between John Cena and The Rock for the WWE Championship in the main event. Cena finished the night off with the win to get over his initial loss to the WWE legend, sending the New York/New Jersey stadium into a frenzy.

That WrestleMania is also known for being CM Punk’s last in WWE, as he lost to the Undertaker in arguably the best match of the entire WrestleMania 29 card. While Punk transitioned to the world of UFC a year and a half later, WWE now has a former UFC star of its own to promote for this event.

Ronda Rousey will likely be a huge part of the build to WrestleMania 35, much like she was on her way to her in-ring debut alongside Kurt Angle against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34. With her star power, names like AJ Styles and Braun Strowman on the rise and the usual powerhouses like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and likely John Cena still kicking around, WWE fans are in for a treat when WrestleMania comes to MetLife in 2019.
