5. Timberwolves over Thunder, Oct. 27

This early season matchup featured two teams that we more the most excited to see play because of offseason acquisitions. The T-Wolves added Jimmy Butler; the Thunder acquired both Paul George and Carmelo Anthony.

The game did not disappoint. Minnesota led most of the way, but the Thunder came charging back in the fourth quarter. Anthony hit a 3 to put the Thunder up one with 5.0 seconds left. With no timeouts remaining, Taj Gibson inbounded the ball to Andrew Wiggins who took it down the court, and from 29 feet away, went glass for the game-winning trey. Wolves win 115-113.
