4. Brock Lesnar busts Roman Reigns open, retains Universal title

This one kind of has to be on the list, solely because it was the main event and featured the most hype of any of the matches on the night. Oh, and it featured Brock Lesnar absolutely annihilating Roman Reigns

This match had its seeds planted at least a year ago when Reigns took down The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33, but it really goes all the way back to WrestleMania 31. Fast forward to Sunday night in New Orleans, and it looks like we finally got the final chapter in this long story that everyone just wanted to end. Picture the last few seasons of The Office after Michael Scott left, and that’s about what we had for this rivalry over the last year.

This wasn’t a hugely special match or moment, but WWE fans around the world should rejoice at the fact that the Lesnar/Reigns build-up is over, and it ended with Reigns getting crushed and busted open. That fact alone makes it one of the best moments of the night, with endless possibilities opening up for the RAW after WrestleMania on Monday night.

The match itself wasn’t horrible, and Reigns being busted open the hard way was awesome, but it wasn’t anything we haven’t seen before from these two before. The crowd was just about as into the match as they were before Seth Rollins cashed in at WrestleMania 31, and it might have been due to how long the show really was. Either way, just be happy that’s over, and that’s the best part of it all for me.
