FanDuel MLB lineup and picks for Thursday, April 12
Sample Lineup
P – Jose Berrios
C/1B – Hanley Ramirez
2B – Brian Dozier
3B – Luis Valbuena
SS – Trea Turner
OF – Franchy Cordero, Brett Gardner, Byron Buxton
Utility – Andrew Benintendi
I’ll be honest, I’m not fully comfortable with Berrios as our pitcher at this point. He’s got plenty of talent but he wasn’t great his last time out and the White Sox have really solid numbers so far this year offensively. Otherwise, we have the affordable pieces from Boston, a big bat with Dozier, and elite shortstop, and the leadoff man for the Yankees. Seeing Cordero at the minimum was a happy moment because it left us so much money to play with otherwise. There aren’t a ton of quality pitching options this evening, which could mean the scores could be high. It’s going to be interesting to see how the ownership falls this evening. Seeing as how it’s a short slate with no aces available, players like Trout and Harper could see high ownership.
When we get a smaller slate like this, it’s important to remember bank roll management. Don’t go crazy because there’s only five games and the player pool is smaller. If we miss a chalky player that goes off, it could be a pretty bad night. The key is consistency so you should be keeping the amount you’re betting at least the same, if not scale it back ever so slightly. You just want to make sure you don’t regret what you bet on any given slate.
Stacks to Consider – Red Sox or Yankees, Nationals(vs. Colorado), and Angels(at Kansas City)
