8. The Parade Planners

Otherwise known as Maple Leafs fans. The second after Auston Matthews scores a goal, every Leafs fan opens up google maps to plan out what they think would be the best parade route through the city of Toronto.

Here is what it’s like watching games with Leafs fans:

“I was thinking Bloor to Yonge, ending on Front Street.”

“We have to pass by the old Garden! Let’s circle the Garden then get back on Yonge.”

Oh, do you think we’re talking about playoff games? This happens in October. The playoff Leafs fan is an amplified version of this. They are renting out storage facilities around the city and building various different Auston Matthews floats.

If you’ve ever been to Toronto, you know that traffic moves so slow you’d think you were caught in a parade. As if the traffic wasn’t bad enough, an actual parade would shut the city down for weeks. Thankfully we never have to worry about this actually happening.
