5 players who have wowed us so far in the Stanley Cup playoffs
2. Filip Forsberg, Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators defeated the Colorado Avalanche in the first game of their quarterfinals series 5-2 on Thursday night, and it was thanks in large part to the play of alternate captain Filip Forsberg.
In three periods of postseason hockey so far, Forsberg has put up two goals and a plus-minus of 2. He did that with a relatively low 14:39 time on ice.
He also did this, which is honest to goodness one of the most impressive goals I have ever seen in my 30 years of watching hockey:
It will be hard for anyone else to top that specific goal this postseason, though we’re hoping for even more scoring prowess. In fact, the next person on this list is the only player so far to have a hat trick in these here playoffs. Take a wild guess.
