Heat-Sixers (Game One)

High Salary (Heat)

Hassan Whiteside ($7,000): Whiteside was over 30 fantasy points in three of four games against Philadelphia. No Joel Embiid means Whiteside will have more room to maneuver in the paint. If there’s one matchup advantage Miami has, it’s at center. His lack of minutes are a concern, but his salary is low enough to where he should be over value. ****

High Salary (Sixers)

Ben Simmons ($10,000): There is no denying Simmons’ ability to put up points, rebounds and assists. There are question marks about his ability to do it in the playoffs against a team like Miami without Embiid. Simmons is going to see a different kind of defense on Saturday and he may not be able to figure it out until Game 2. He should at least hit value, but proceed with caution. ***

Robert Covington ($7,900): With Dario Saric back in the lineup, Covington isn’t quite as attractive, especially at this salary. Furthermore, he struggled against Miami in the regular season, averaging 21.7 fantasy points in four games. He’ll get plenty of opportunities to contribute, but there is a risk involved with him. **

High Value (Heat)

Josh Richardson ($5,800): Richardson is expected to see plenty of minutes as he’s their best option to take on Ben Simmons. He turned into a reliable player by the end of the season and his salary is low enough to where he should hit value. His lack of scoring is a concern, but he chips in in other categories. ***

Goran Dragic ($6,100): Dragic was over 30 fantasy points in his last two games against the Sixers. He was dealing with an injury in the final week, but wasn’t on the injury report Friday and should be good to go on Saturday. He comes with a certain risk at this salary, but as the leader of the Miami offense, he’s at least involved. ***

High Value (Sixers)

Dario Saric ($5,700): After struggling to find his rhythm in his first games back from injury, Saric looked more like himself in the regular season finale. He averaged 33.9 fantasy points in the four regular season games against Miami. With Embiid out and with his regular season success against Miami, he could be an absolute steal at this salary. ****

J.J. Redick ($6,000): Reidk has the playoff experience that many Philadelphia players lack. He was fantastic down the stretch for Philadelphia and he’s the guy you should least worry about on the Sixers. He had 32.1 fantasy points against Miami on March 8. He’s a solid bet to at least hit value with decent chance he has a great shooting night. ***

Role Players

Miami: Kelly Olynyk could prove to be value in this matchup. The problem is his lack of minutes with Whiteside back in the lineup. James Johnson is another guy splitting time in the Miami frontcourt and comes with a risk. Justise Winslow played well down the stretch and could be valuable against Philadelphia’s offense. Dwyane Wade will have a Playoff Wade game at some point, but it’ll likely happen in Miami.

Philadelphia: Amir Johnson and Richaun Holmes should see minutes to combat the Miami frontcourt. Holmes is the better option of the two. Marco Belinelli remains a solid scoring option off the bench while Ersan Ilyasova is a risk at that salary. Markelle Fultz looks better after the regular season finale, but don’t put too much stock into that.
