Early Slate Sample Lineup

P – Max Scherzer

C/1B – Christian Vazquez

2B – Brock Holt

3B – Jeimer Candalerio

SS – Dansby Swanson

OF – Aaron Judge, Pedro Alvarez, Jesse Winker

Utility – J.D. Martinez

So, we lock in Scherzer. If we keep Judge in the lineup, we’re going to have to get creative. This lineup could evolve in the morning because this one might be a hair risky for cash. We’ll also need to keep an eye on the weather, as three games could see the wrath of Mother Nature. I can’t believe Pedro Alvarez is in the lineup but he’s actually been usable against righties so far this year. I fully expect a three or four strikeout game today, but at least he’s only $2,300 if it doesn’t work.

Stacks To Consider – Red Sox, Yankees, and Cardinals

Main Slate Sample Lineup

P – Jameson Taillon

C/1B – Josh Bell

2B – Josh Harrison

3B – Mike Moustakas

SS – Jordy Mercer

OF – Khris Davis, Hunter Renfroe, Joc Pederson

Utility – Kyle Seager

Stacks To Consider – Pirates, Dodgers, A’s

This lineup could also evolve fairly significantly because there is a pretty heavy amount of risk involved. It may be better suited for tournaments, but we’ll see how the lineup cards shake out. Taillon is basically locked in, as is Bell and Harrison. I’m pretty happy to play Moustakas and Seager in the same line, because they are both in good spots. We’ve played Davis before this season but haven’t gotten him right yet. Perhaps that changes tonight. Renfroe and Pederson are a little risky but that’s only taking up a combined $6,000 of the budget. We don’t need a ton out of those players, but it sure would be nice if it happens.
