Bucks-Celtics (Game 1)

High Salary (Bucks)

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,000): Of any player in this series, Antetokounmpo should have the most success. He was over 50 fantasy points in all four games against Boston in the regular season. The Celtics can throw a variety of defenders at him, but none of them are good enough at this point to stop him. Boston might be better off letting Giannis get his and taking away his other options. *****

Eric Bledsoe ($8,600): Bledsoe struggled against the Celtics this season. This salary feels way too high for a guy who didn’t play well against Boston and hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2013. He’ll get chances to produce, but he’s risky at this price. **

Khris Middleton ($8,200): Middleton averaged 38.1 fantasy points in four games against Boston. He’s a better option than Bledsoe due to his slightly lower salary. If the Celtics try to take Antetokounmpo away and force other guys to beat them, Middleton showed he’s capable of stepping up this season. ***

High Salary (Celtics)

Al Horford ($7,400): Horford was great against the Bucks this season, averaging 40.6 fantasy points in the four games. The Bucks have a lot of trouble with frontcourt players and Horford is the best frontcourt option on Boston. In fact, he’s the best player on Boston. This is a great salary and he should be well over value. *****

Terry Rozier ($7,200): Rozier will get his chances to shine as the starting point guard, but this salary is too high. He hit value in just 50 percent of games as the starter this season. The Bucks defense leaves a lot to be desired and Rozier can get hot from the field. But this is a new pressure for him and I’m not confident he’ll deliver. **

High Value (Bucks)

Jabari Parker ($5,800): Parker looked good to close the season and should get plenty of minutes in the playoffs. At this salary, he’s a good bet to at least hit value. His production off the bench could be a big x-factor for the Bucks.

High Value (Celtics)

Jaylen Brown ($5,900): Jayson Tatum might be the better offensive player, but Brown’s playoff experience from last season comes in handy. There’s no telling how Tatum will play in his first playoff game, but I’m fairly confident in Brown. At a lower salary, he’s a better bet than Tatum. ***

Greg Monroe ($6,000): Monroe’s size and rebounding gave Milwaukee fits in the regular season. There’s a good chance that carries over into the playoffs. With this matchup, minutes should not be a problem. Expect him to push 30 fantasy points. ****

Role Players

Milwaukee: John Henson ($5,400) and Tony Snell ($3,600) will get minutes, but neither are reliable. Henson is the better option. Snell is more likely to be a role player who contributes at home. Malcolm Brogdon ($3,900) is still working himself back into the lineup, making his less attractive than usual. Tyler Zeller ($3,500) could see minutes due to the matchup.

Boston: Jayson Tatum ($6,600) being a playoff rookie worries me. But making his debut out home works to his benefit. He’s a risk, but could pay off big. Aron Baynes ($4,300) could be a decent low cost option due to the minutes he’ll get and the matchup. Marcus Morris ($5,400) is typically a solid contributor, but performs better as a starter.
