There are some games where LeBron get that look and decides he’s going to score at will. When that happens, look out because there’s really nothing you can do to stop him. When LeBron is hitting jumpers from the mid-range and draining shots from deep, he goes into Super Saiyan mode and you can’t help but marvel at the results.
With the Cavs struggling out of the gates early in the season, LeBron uncorked a vintage smackdown on the Wizards. He had the eye of the tiger in this one, going an unthinkable 23/34 in a winning effort. We saw it all from LeBron in this game: fadeaways, transition dunks, step back jumpers, post-ups, dynamic drives to the rack drives. He put on a basketball clinic against the Wizards, who simply had no recourse for his brilliance; there’s only so much that Otto Porter, Kelly Oubre and Markieff Morris can do against LeBron.
