2018 NFL Mock Draft: Josh Allen heads to Browns
By Brad Weiss
The Baltimore Ravens should have been a playoff team last season, losing at home in Week 17 with a chance to earn a spot with a win. However, they saw some great things from their roster, including running back Alex Collins. If they hope to take the next step in 2018, they should add some more talent to the unit, and Derrius Guice is a nice addition at No. 16.
Guice led the SEC in rushing as the backup to Leonard Fournette back in 2016, and has that three-down capability that every team is looking for. In addition to Collins, Baltimore should be better in the passing game, as they added Michael Crabtree this offseason. Guice gives them a weapon that they have not had since Ray Rice, and it should help Joe Flacco be more productive going forward.
Baltimore’s defense is still excellent, and should help them compete in the AFC North next season. The Pittsburgh Steelers are the class of the division, but they are going to be challenged by this Ravens team. Collins is a nice player, but Guice can be a game-changer, giving the Ravens more weapons than they have had on offense in a long time.
