player. 56. . Offensive Guard. UTEP. Will Hernandez. 21

The Cincinnati Bengals were originally supposed to select with the No. 12 overall pick in the first round, but they made a trade that moved them down nine spots. The Bengals traded the No. 12 selection to the Buffalo Bills for pick No. 21, and left  tackle Cordy Glenn, adding some much needed talent to the offensive line. While Glenn is a good addition, they should not stop there with pick No. 21 overall.

One player who needs to be selected in the first round is Will Hernandez from UTEP. While Isaiah Wynn may be the best offensive guard in this draft class, Hernandez is not too far away. In fact, some mock drafts have Hernandez being selected before Wynn, but we will keep him a couple of spots below Wynn in our latest mock draft.

Cincinnati still has a ton of talent on their roster, and adding Hernandez and Glenn would do wonders for quarterback Andy Dalton, and second-year running back Joe Mixon. The AFC North is going to be very interesting next season, and it is not out of the realm of possibility that the Bengals can win it. The offensive line was atrocious last season, and if they can get better up front this offseason, the Bengals just may be able to save Marvin Lewis’ job.
