Ben Simmons
Perhaps the most talented athlete on this list, Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers has been well-documented playing battle royale-style games like Fornite and PUBG.
Simmons was the No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2015 and went to the LSU Tigers with high-expectations. While LSU struggled all season long, Simmons had an amazing one-and-done year with the Tigers. The future No. 1 overall NBA draft pick averaged 19.2 points per game, 11.8 rebounds per game and 4.8 assists per game on a team that finished fifth in the SEC.
Rather than take a slight step backwards at the next level, Simmons’ rookie numbers in the NBA were absolutely insane. Where he dropped off in scoring, he made up for in assists, averaging 15.8 points, 8.2 assists and 8.1 rebounds per game. It was only natural his scoring would drop off a bit as he went into a league with players who could actually score (no offense to LSU), but the rise in assist numbers has been a great sign, and should lead to Simmons becoming the NBA Rookie of the year, as well.
Simmons has had a few Fortnite streams for fans to follow, but perhaps the most memorable was when he told fellow NBA player Karl Anthony Towns that he could play another game of PUBG because KAT faced the lowly Atlanta Hawks the next night.

KAT promptly dropped 52 points in a Minnesota Timberwolves victory, proving that you can always play another round.
