2. New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings

This game between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings may not see the same talent level as a game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers, but the storytelling behind the game itself is what makes it one to watch out for in 2018.

For those of you that have been living under a rock for the last year, the Vikings delivered two big losses to the Saints last season, but one of them hurt possibly more than any other L the Saints have taken in franchise history. That loss has now gone done in NFL lore as the “Minneapolis Miracle”.

The Vikings pulled off the improbable win in the Divisional Round, when a last second touchdown pass from Case Keenum to Stefon Diggs led to a dramatic 29-24 win. Obviously, the loss left a sour taste in any Saints fans’ mouths who were hoping to see the black and gold back in the Super Bowl for the first time since their win over the Colts almost a decade ago.

This game in 2018 could serve as a massive source of revenge for the Saints, as they bring back Drew Brees and most of their roster in hopes of heading back to the postseason. The Vikings are carrying virtually the same roster, as long as you equate the newly-acquired Kirk Cousins to the miracle-worker Keenum. That all adds up to a magical matchup when these two get together in 2018.

Add in the fact that the Saints have to return to Minnesota and play in the same stadium their season ended in January, and this game has all the makings to be one of the best in 2018.
