Major update on whether or not Dolph Ziggler has actually re-signed with WWE, with rumors speculating that he signed a new deal worth $1.5 million.

Despite reports earlier in the year that he signed a new deal, Mike Johnson from PWInsider has reported that Raw superstar Dolph Ziggler has not signed a new deal with WWE. With that being said, Johnson also reported that Ziggler’s contract with WWE is coming to an end this summer. With Ziggler recently being drafted to Raw and supposedly starting a program with NXT alumni Drew McIntyre, it’s unknown whether or not it may influence Ziggler to sign a new deal with the company.

In related news to the story, Ziggler recently stated during an interview with Fox Sports Australia that reports on him signing a new deal with WWE, which was apparently worth $1.5 million a year, we’re completely false.

“I would love to get into that more, but based on the internet, they told you I’d re-signed. I have not,” Ziggler told Fox Sports. “I have a bunch of things going on and I don’t like taking days off and I don’t want to leave WWE, but it’s great to have some options. I’ve asked before to go away for a little while just so everyone can forget I lose 99 times out of 100 and it’s never really come through, so I might have to do it on my own and see what happens.”

It wouldn’t be surprising if someone Dolph Ziggler were to leave WWE when his contract expires. This seems to be a recurring pattern in his career where numerous times it looked like he’d be getting a main event push, before being relegated back to a lower position on the show. What’s also worth noting is Ziggler is getting much older in his career, which means even though he may sign a new deal, he could be on his way out in a couple of years anyway.
