Danny Tanner

Tanner is not only a longtime sports fan who covered the Warriors before they were good, he’s a successful little league manager. Sure, he showed favoritism towards his daughter, but in his defense, she was the best pitcher on the team. He should also be credited for sending a female pitcher to the mound.

Long before WWE took credit for the Women’s Revolution, Danny Tanner used a female pitcher to win an important little league game. And for those who think girls are too emotional to be pitchers, Stephanie went to the mound and struck out her boyfriend. She didn’t care about the future of their relationship. Her dad gave her one goal: strike this dude out. Mission accomplished.

Stephanie’s mindset is a credit to her father/manager. Danny gets made fun of for being a gang neat freak, but don’t let that fool you. This man is as mentally tough as they come. He lost his wife and had to raise three daughters on his own. Sure, he had help from his brother-in-law and best friend, but they were chasing dream jobs in music and comedy. Danny was the only man with a stable job. And he allowed those men to live in his house rent free.

Best Fit: San Francisco Giants

There is no other choice. Tanner lives and breathes San Francisco sports. Bruce Bochy is getting up there and age and he’s accomplished enough during his time. He’s delivered three World Series titles. He can ride off into the sunset and leave the team in good hands.

There could be an issue here. Stephanie did briefly date Hunter Pence. Danny is going to do what he needs to do to win games, but there might be some hard feelings in the clubhouse. And if Danny brings in his secret arm to win that big game, how will Hunter react?

Maybe Danny is better off managing the Oakland A’s.
