Sample Lineup One
P – Corey Kluber
C/1B – Tyler Austin
2B – Joey Wendle
3B – Miguel Andujar
SS – Jose Iglesias
OF – Ryan Braun, Hernan Perez, Jesse Winker
Utility – Nicholas Castellanos
Something I want to do for the readers moving forward is to show different lineups and their constructions. For instance, Kluber seems like an absolute lock to have a great game. now, anything can happen but he’s in a perfect spot and should be very popular today. Playing him means you have to take chances, like Wendle, Iglesias, and Perez especially. We have virtually no “big name” bats in this lineup and that can be a little scary. This is still a fine cash game lineup as most are likely going to side with Kluber. The offensive pieces just need to show up and do what they should do and this lineup should have no issue getting over the cash line.
Sample Lineup Two
P – Lance McCullers
C/1B – Brad Miller
2B – Dixon Machado
3B – Miguel Andujar
SS – Didi Gregorius
OF – Giancarlo Stanton, Jess Winker, JaCoby Jones
Utility – Ryan Braun
While I’d have no real issue rolling this lineup in any style of game, it should be noted this is likely a little riskier in cash games. If Kluber is 60 percent or above, McCullers is going to have to keep close to his point total or you’re in trouble. Still, the mini Yankee stack with the big bats is super appealing. Past that, many of the complimentary pieces are the same or similar. It’s just going to come down to personal preference if you want to relative safety of Kluber or want to risk McCullers with the Yankee bats.
Stacks to Consider – Yankees(vs Toronto), Brewers(vs Miami), Rays(vs Minnesota) and Tigers(vs Kansas City)
