Jazz-Thunder (Jazz Lead 3-1)

Either the Thunder look competitive and win by double digits or they flame out in spectacular fashion. There may be no in-between.

Because of that, everyone on Oklahoma City comes with a certain risk. Russell Westbrook has not been himself in this series. He doesn’t have a single triple-double in the series. If he were ever going to stat chase, now would be a good time. This all a credit to the Utah defense, which the Thunder have no answer for.

Paul George is getting his and is at least reliable enough to hit value. The same goes for Carmelo Anthony at his salary. Steven Adams is a slight risk at his salary and could be a bust if he ends up in foul trouble again. Corey Brewer had been solid up until Game 4 and if you’re on the side of “the Thunder win by double digits” then you’ll take him with confidence.

I’m not on that side.

I’m on the side of them being a wreck. Especially on defense.

Donovan Mitchell has gotten whatever he wants in this series. The same goes for Ricky Rubio. You can pair them and feel confident about your chances. The Jazz found ways to get Ingles free in Games 3 and 4, which is a good sign that he’ll continue to get free in Game 5. Rudy Gobert will at least hit value and if Adams is off the floor, he’ll be well over value. I don’t like Favors quite as much at his salary. His big game came due to an absurd amount of offensive rebounds, which is unlikely to happen again.

Jae Crowder is the only bench player on either side worth taking a second look at.
