The Cleveland Cavaliers were on the ropes in Game 4, but they recovered and can now take control of their series against the Indiana Pacers with a win in Game 5.

The Cleveland Cavaliers appeared to be in big trouble as they blew another big lead against the Indiana Pacers in Game 4. But as they stared down a potential 3-1 deficit, LeBron James and Kyle Korver rose to the occasion to give the Cavaliers a 104-100 victory. Instead of being on the brink, Cleveland heads back home with a chance to go up 3-2 in the series.

LeBron and Korver tag-teamed a 10-2 Cavaliers run late in the fourth quarter that decided the game. James finished with 32 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists in a whopping 46 minutes of action. He’s averaging 32.5 points, 11.8 rebounds and eight assists in 43 minutes per game for the series.

Korver got off to a rough start in Game 4, but he scored 16 points in the second half and buried two 3-pointers during Cleveland’s crucial surge. Korver finished with 18 points, the second-most on the team.

As the Cavaliers head home, they’re hoping to get more from Kevin Love. Love was mostly a disaster in Game 4 with five points on 2-of-10 shooting, and he hasn’t been particularly good all series. Perhaps the hand injury he suffered in Game 2 is bugging him, but he needs to make more of an impact if Cleveland is going to make a deep run.

The Cavaliers could also use a healthy George Hill. The veteran point guard missed Game 4 with a back injury, and he’s questionable for Wednesday’s Game 5.

As for the Pacers, they have to be kicking themselves for letting Game 4 slip away. Indiana was rolling in the second half and had all the momentum, only to fall apart offensively down the stretch. The home team scored only three points over a nearly six-minute stretch late in the final frame.

Victor Oladipo has been great all season, but he had a dismal 5-of-20 shooting night in the loss. Oladipo made only two of his eight shots in the fourth quarter as the Pacers melted down.

The Cavaliers have the upper hand, but the Pacers’ resiliency in this series has been impressive. Indy isn’t going to roll over and die, so Cleveland needs to play a complete game and not get complacent if it builds up another big lead.
