Arizona Coyotes: Max Domi

Here’s a controversial pick. Max Domi is relatively new to the NHL, having played only three seasons with the Arizona Coyotes. The 21-year old son of Toronto Maple Leafs tough-guy Tie Domi has already leapfrogged his father in offensive capabilities, this season he can add beard-growing to that list as well.

Max Domi can grow one hell of a beard. So much so that he makes this list despite not having made a playoff appearance yet. The Coyotes are on the upswing, with many promising young players filling out their roster. Once they do make the playoffs, Domi will have the league’s best playoff beard.

Domi grew a beard in the 2017 season before shaving it as part of a fundraiser for Type 1 Diabetes (which Domi himself suffers from). He raised more than $60,000 for diabetes research. A great fundraiser for a great cause.

One day in the not-so-distant future, Domi and the Coyotes will be in the playoffs. You will be talking about two things: 1. How is Antti Raanta standing on his head every night, and 2. How did Max Domi grow that fantastic beard so quickly!
