High Salary C

Anthony Davis ($12,700): Davis produced 47 fantasy points in Game 1, putting him slightly under value. At this price, with only one center spot, he needs to give you at least 55 fantasy points to be worth the pick. He’s certainly good enough to do, and I expect him to bounce back in Game 2, but he’s not the lock he typically is. ****

High Value C

Jonas Valanciunas ($6,500): Valanciunas averaged 31.4 fantasy points in 20.7 minutes in three games against the Cavaliers this season. He always puts up fantasy points in limited minutes, but he played over 30 minutes in the last two games against the Wizards. He can be a matchup problem for the Cavaliers. ***

Tristan Thompson ($2,000): Thompson started in Game 7 and finished with 31.5 fantasy points. He did have 22.1 fantasy points in the Jan. 11 game between these two teams, but that was prior to the trade deadline and the sweeping changes Cleveland made. *

Jakob Poeltl ($3,600): Poeltl proved to be a solid hand by the end of the first round, outplaying Serge Ibaka. He did have two games of over 30 fantasy points against the the Cavaliers in the regular season. As a punt option at this position, you could do worse.
