1. Antonio Callaway – Cleveland Browns

If the NFL Draft were conducted on talent alone, Antonio Callaway could have easily been a first-round pick. Unfortunately for Callaway, if the event was conducted based on off-field issues he would have gone undrafted.

Callaway’s issues at Florida are well documented. They are certainly the reason he fell into the fourth round. There’s a significant chance he’ll never improve his off-field decision-making enough to give his NFL career a serious chance.

If he does manage to focus on football, he could become Baker Mayfield’s best friend in Cleveland. Turn on the tape of him at Florida and you see a wide receiver who is oozing with talent. Again, his production with the Gators definitely didn’t match his potential, but there were legitimate flashes of All-Pro potential.

When he gets the ball in his hands he’s very difficult to catch. His speed and quickness in the first few yard of his routes make him a nightmare for opposing defensive backs. Minkah Fitzpatrick found that out the hard way in the 2016 SEC Championship Game.

Callaway may not be the type of person you pull for, but as a talent evaluator you really want to see whether or not he can put the whole package together. On the off chance that he does, he could become a dominant receiver in the NFL.
