High Salary C

Joel Embiid ($9,300): Embiid didn’t play well in Game 1 (his words) and still managed 57.75 fantasy points. He’s going to be a matchup problem for the Celtics all series and they’ll be more than happy to let him get his if it means the Philadelphia shooters are cold. He’ll have another big game on Thursday. *****

Jonas Valanciunas ($6,900): Valanciunas posted 52.25 fantasy points in Game 1. His size, and the ability to now use his size properly, makes him a big issue for Cleveland on the inside. He dominated the paint and boards and will continue to do so. ****

High Value C

Tristan Thompson ($5,200): To combat Valanciunas, the Cavaliers need Thompson to play well. He may not be the starter, but he’ll continue to log big minutes in an effort to deter the Raptors big man. Along the way, he’ll get points and rebounds. ***

Aron Baynes ($3,600): Baynes played 29 minutes in Game 1, finishing with 17.5 fantasy points. As a punt option, he’s your best choice. He’s going to get minutes and he’ll contribute in a variety of ways. *
