Cavaliers-Raptors (Cavaliers Lead 1-0)

LeBron James actually got some help in Game 1. Jeff Green, Tristan Thompson, J.R. Smith, and Kyle Korver were all over value. Green has done well against Toronto all season while Thompson is seeing minutes as Jonas Valanciunas feasts on the inside. Smith and Korver are always risks with their streaky shooting.

The top three guys for the Raptors were good in Game 1. But they got little help elsewhere. Serge Ibaka needs to wake up and until he does, even at his salary, there’s no point in taking him. There’s better and more guaranteed value at power forward. Look for Fred VanVleet and Delon Wright to be better in Game 2.

Sixers-Celtics (Celtics Lead 1-0)

The more banged up the Celtics get, the better they play. I don’t know how they continue to do it other than Brad Stevens is amazing at getting the most out of his guys. They’ve been on fire at home all playoffs and until they show a sign of weakness, keep riding their hot hands. Marcus Morris was slightly under value in Game 1, but he’s a reliable and cost effective option at home. Even Aron Baynes is a guy who is going to get playing time if you want to get some value at center. Shane Larkin has been a contributor throughout the playoffs as well.

The Sixers will be better in Game 2. Guys won’t miss as many shots, especially from three. But Dario Saric, Joel Embiid, and J.J. Redick remain my three favorite options. Ersan Ilyasova becomes a solid option at his reduced salary.
