FanDuel Lineup and Picks for Thursday, May 3
Sample Lineup
P – Julio Teheran
C/1B – Kurt Suzuki
2B – Ozzie Albies
3B – John Carmago
SS – Carlos Correa
OF – Ronald Acuna, Adam Frazier, Nicholas Castellanos
Utility – Bryce Harper
Whenever a slate shapes up like this, I tend to just side with a cheap pitcher and try to build a great offense. Carrasco feels expensive given the matchup. McCullers and Tanaka feel like a massive risk. If I’m going to take a big risk, I’d much rather pay just $6,400 for it and see where that goes.
After Teheran, I’m all about the young Braves offense today. They should be able to just destroy Jason Vargas and I want as much as I can get. Now, if they fall flat on their face today, it’s going to be a real short ride. They just rank so incredibly highly against lefties it’s hard to see how they don’t show up today. I’m not in love with Carlos Correa, but shortstop is just ugly. It’s kind of the reverse of the pitcher spot because there’s not much to pick from so I’ll pick one of the best and hope he can get to Tanaka. A cheap punt option with Adam Frazier works nicely and he should be hitting at the top of the Pirates lineup today. Although I do respect Trevor Williams, Harper is red-hot and I’d rather lose with him in the lineup than see him go off again and not have him.
Stacks To Consider – Braves(at New York), Indians(vs Toronto) and Tigers(at Kansas City)
