Ahead of a pivotal Game 5 contest on Friday night, the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay has found a new way to troll the San Jose Sharks.

Today, we’ve learned that while ducks may fly together, not all Sharks stick together.

You know who taught us that? Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay, which trolled the San Jose Sharks via their aquarium before Game 5 against the Vegas Golden Knights.

“Why is it almost impossible to catch a San Jose Shark?” one sign on the sharks’ tank asked. “Because they never get close to a net.”

At the start of this postseason, we were all-in on the Sharks because they produced what may be the sickest playoff towel ever.

Then, something changed. It seems we started laughing at San Jose instead of laughing with them. We don’t plan on stopping. Then again, when you go from greatness to you-ain’t-this in a matter of two weeks, well, you brought this on yourself. We’re still trying to figure out the atrocity that is that home towel. *Shiver.*

We love the fact that Las Vegas has gone this overboard in its love for the Golden Knights, even more so because it’s at the expense of San Jose. Doing less should not have been expected, though. When you finally get a chance to have beef with another professional sports team, why would you ever pass up the opportunity?

Oh, but Vegas hasn’t confined its fire just to the Sharks. They’re spitting lava to anyone who thinks they’d love a trip to the burn unit.

At this rate, they might turn the entirety of California into a smoldering volcano. Don’t ever change, Vegas. We need you guys to move on so we can see what else you have up your sleeve.
