FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 4, 2018
Warriors-Pelicans (Warriors Lead 2-0)
Klay Thompson struggled in Game 2 and he’ll certainly see less shots with Curry back in the starting lineup. But he’s still Klay Thompson and if he gets the same looks he got in Game 2, he won’t miss as often as he did. You can always count of the Warriors four All-Stars to deliver while Iguodala and Looney make for value plays who will get minutes.
Nikola Mioritc played well in Game 2 and I like him more now that the Pelicans are at home. Jrue Holiday had a strong performance in Game 2 as well and should be good enough for value. This just feels like it’s going to be The Anthony Davis Game. Other players will chip in, but he’s the guy I’m looking at to be huge.
Rockets-Jazz (Series Tied 1-1)
Chris Paul is going to come up with a big game at some point in this series. James Harden remains the better play, but Paul always makes for a fallback option if you don’t want to spend on Harden. P.J. Tucker has surpassed Trevor Ariza as a contributor, but Ariza still remains an option who gets minutes and chances.
If Ricky Rubio ends up playing, the dynamics change for Utah. Alec Burks and Royce O’Neale become less attractive, although Burks has proved his worth in this series. Donovan Mitchell goes back to being the lead scorer instead of a playmaker. Jae Crowder remains a strong value play due to the matchup. Meanwhile, Derrick Favors is a risky option.
