Many Arsenal fans have wanted Arsene Wenger to leave for longer than they care to mention. And the time is almost here; this match with Burnley is Arsenal’s last ever on home turf under their iconic manager.

They will certainly be favorites to send the boss on his way with a victory. The Gunners have so far played 12 home games against sides currently below them in the Premier League, and they have won every single time. Burnley are just three points behind them, so will provide a sterner test than many of the smaller sides have this season.

Since winning at Chelsea on the first weekend of 2017-18, Burnley have not taken three points from any of the Premier League’s big six, either home or away. However, they have picked up a draw in three of their other four away matches against the big boys, so are certainly capable of getting something here.

Arsenal will be tired from their exertions in Spain on Thursday night, but everything will still point towards the Gunners sending Wenger off in style.
