4. Justice Hill – Oklahoma State

The Cowboys are going to have a lot of offensive production to replace after seeing Mason Rudolph and James Washington ride off into the sunset. Giving Justice Hill the ball more often would be a great place for Oklahoma State to start.

He lit Big 12 defenses up to the tune of 1,347 yards last season. Hill isn’t the biggest back in the country (5-foot-9, 185 pounds) but he still does a good job pushing the pile forward. Don’t let his lack of size fool you, he is not a scat back.

Like Singletary, there are also concerns about Hill’s ability to hold up in the passing game. He didn’t catch the ball very often for the Cowboys, but he does show some aptitude for pass protection. Oklahoma State tries to get the ball out quickly, but watching Hill does at least show you he’s willing to stick his nose in to pass protect.

Hill is going to be a player that NFL scouts watch a lot of this season. If he can maintain, or even raise, his production level without as much talent around him then he can shoot up draft boards. If he struggles without Rudolph and Washington it may cause him to slip.
