4. A.J. Brown – Ole Miss

This Rebels wideout certainly looks the part of a primetime NFL receiver. Checking in at 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds he has the type of body to thrive at the next level. Fortunately for Brown, his production is just as good as his look.

He isn’t the quickest receiver in the class, but he’s faster than you think at first. When you watch him on tape, you can see some ability to separate from SEC defensive backs.

He’s not going to make his money at the next level running away from defenders though. Instead, he’ll continue to use his size to make difficult catches in traffic. Brown has an innate ability to shield defenders with his massive frame. That skill went a long way towards earning him over 1,200 yards receiving last year.

Brown may find it difficult to improve his draft stock due to the lack of talent surrounding him in Oxford. That could give smart NFL teams the chance to catch their competitors napping. Brown has the talent to play in a Pro Bowl one day. You can safely ignore his statistics this year for Ole Miss.
