The Preakness 143 is Saturday, May 19. Here’s the full schedule leading up to the big race.

Justify’s quest for the Triple Crown continues on Saturday, May 19, when the three-year-old will run the 143rd Preakness Stakes in Baltimore, Maryland. Of course, this wouldn’t be horse racing without a full week of events in advance of a two minute race. Here’s everything going on in Baltimore during Preakness week.

Among the events leading up to the Preakness is the Alibi Breakfast on Thursday during which trainers, jockeys and owners of Preakness horses “share personal insights with racing fans…about what it takes to become thoroughbred racing’s next greatest legend.”

There are also Sunrise Tours around the grounds, Tuesday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET and Black-Eyed Susan Day — the Kentucky Oaks to the Preakness’ Kentucky Derby.

Because the Preakness falls on Armed Forces Day this year, the Preakness will have the Maryland National Guard escort the Woodlawn Vase and host performances rom the US Naval Academy Glee Club and Joint Service Color Guard.
