1. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals are absolutely the best potential landing spot for Dez Bryant. Unless you’re a big believer in Tyler Eifert’s ability to stay healthy for a full season, it’s clear that Andy Dalton needs an additional receiver for the season.

A.J. Green is one of the best receivers in the game, but he rest of the Bengals’s receiving corp is full of question marks. Brandon LaFell can be a decent number two receiver, but he’s nothing special. It’s possible someone like Tyler Boyd or John Ross could breakout but that’s more hope than logical expectation at this point.

Signing Bryant would give the Bengals insurance at multiple positions. He can definitely duplicate what Eifert does out in the slot. He also is just as dynamic as LaFell is on the outside. That might be damning with faint praise, but it illustrates just how deep Cincinnati’s needs at receiver are.

The Bengals want to give Andy Dalton another chance to make a playoff run this year, but they haven’t given him the weapons to make that happen. Signing Bryant wouldn’t cure all of the offense’s weaknesses, but it would be a serious step in the right direction for the Cincinnati offense.
