Celtics-Cavaliers (Celtics Lead 2-0)

With only one game on the schedule, your top option is FanDuel’s Single Game Boost. In single game leagues, you select five players (one from each team). The MVP (scores a 2x multiplier), the Star (scores a 1.5x multiplier), the Pro (scores a 1.2x a multiplier) and two positionless players.

In a one game league, you have to identify players who are going to play. That means any starter is a good bet.

LeBron James ($20,500) is going to cost over a third of your salary cap. But he’s going to have 70-plus fantasy points in Game 3. LeBron by himself may account for more fantasy points than any two Boston players combined. Keep in mind that Cleveland has been great at home in the playoffs and the Celtics haven’t been quite as good on the road. Also keep in mind that LeBron is the best player in the world and he’s down 2-0 and facing what amounts to as a must-win game. If he doesn’t have an insane boxscore, he finally got help or this series is over.

Al Horford ($14,500) continues to play well, but like most of the Boston players, his numbers have dipped on the road. Typically, I like Horford over Kevin Love ($13,500), but I’m feeling more confident in Love on Saturday.

Terry Rozier($12,500) has been steady this series, but I continue to find more value in Jaylen Brown ($12,000). Jayson Tatum ($11,500) finally struggled in Game 2, but expect him to bounce back on Saturday. Of the three, I still prefer Brown.

Marcus Smart ($10,500) is another guy who has not done quite as good on the road, but his game still travels. He provides value in a variety of ways and I have more confidence in him than Tatum. Marcus Morris ($10,000) is a risky option, although he did play well in his last two roads games. Aron Baynes ($8,500) will continue to get minutes and impact the game with decent scoring and rebounding.

Then it gets tricky. The Cleveland role players may as well not exist after their first two games. But if they are ever going to come alive, Game 3 would be their time. As always, role players play better at home. J.R. Smith ($8,000) may finally hit a shot, Tristan Thompson ($8,000) seems to be the most reliable, George Hill ($8,000) is a proven contributor, and Kyle Korver ($7,500) will continue to get shots and should get more minutes.
