Sample Lineup with an Ace

P – Aaron Nola

C/1B – Kurt Suzuki

2B – Whit Merrifield

3B – Jose Bautista

SS – Tim Anderson

OF – Giancarlo Stanton, Austin Meadows, Max Kepler

Utility – Gary Sanchez

For the main lineup, I’ll likely lock in Nola, Stanton and Anderson and work my way backwards from there. At least as of now, I get two cheap Braves with Suzuki and Bautista. It bums me out this one doesn’t have Albies or any Cubs and we’ll see how the time leading up to lock treats us. Kepler and Meadows are basically punts to fit in the big bats. Gary Sanchez has massive potential as well today and it’s hard to leave him off.

Sample Lineup without an Ace

P – Jordan Lyles

C/1B – Matt Olson

2B – Ozzie Albies

3B – Anthony Rendon

SS – Time Anderson

OF – Giancarlo Stanton, Austin Meadows, Dustin Fowler

Utility – Jed Lowrie

Give the spots the Red Sox, Yankees and Cubs are in today, the A’s could very easily fly under the radar. They’re in just as good a spot as any other team today and this lineup could take advantage of that. Lyles has some potential for a quality start and a few strikeouts and then we’re banking on Oakland. Rendon and Stanton really round things out nicely. Spending just $4,300 on two outfielders really opens thing up to play almost whoever else you want, like Albies at almost $5,000.

Stacks to Consider – Red Sox(vs Baltimore), Yankees or Royals, Braves(vs Miami) and Cubs(at Cincinnati)
