1. Dallas Stars

There’s no doubt that Dallas would be a perfect fit for Green in the future.

The Stars have had the core right for quite some time, but the puzzle pieces around them have been the big question marks holding the team back. Luckily, a lot of those players are coming off the books this summer which gives Dallas another chance to get it correct.

Dallas has been looking to contend each season, but it either barely misses the playoffs or simply gets eliminated in the early postseason. There’s not enough past the leaders of the squad.

The Stars have young players coming in, older players coming off the books and likely a lot of money to spend to help the project become complete.

There’s no secret that the Stars love their offensive defenseman. It’s part of their mold to maybe surrender goals at the back only if that means they get two back of their own from high and pressuring play from the blue line.

It’s been that way even through the struggle, and it will stay that way for a good portion of time. Green fits into Dallas’ scheme perfectly with his blue line play and ability to track back quickly for the guaranteed odd-man rush that would come against the Stars.

The benefit for Green which was mentioned before is that Dallas should be willing to pay for its assets this summer. A lot of money could be flowing Green’s way in a place that will surely keep him happy for years to come.

A Stanley Cup in the Lone Star State cannot be doubted in the next few years, which is another of the many reasons Green would want to get in on what’s going down with the Dallas Stars.
