FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – June 8, 2018
Warriors-Cavaliers (Warriors Lead 3-0)
With only one game on the schedule, your top option is FanDuel’s Single Game Boost. In single game leagues, you select five players (one from each team). The MVP (scores a 2x multiplier), the Star (scores a 1.5x multiplier), the Pro (scores a 1.2x a multiplier) and two positionless players.
In a one game league, you have to identify players who are going to play. That means any starter is a good bet.
LeBron James ($22,000) will either go out swinging or turn in the most passive aggressive performance since Kobe Bryant. I’d bet on the former, but I haven’t completely ruled out the latter. Assuming he’s not 100 percent gassed and has both feet out the door, expect LeBron to do everything he can to make this game competitive.
Kevin Durant ($16,000) has been brilliant this series and shows no signs of slowing down. Maybe he won’t shoot the way he did in Game 3, but at long as he’s rebounding and the moving the ball, he’ll continue to give you at least 50 fantasy points. Steph Curry ($15,00) struggled with his shot, but he’s still Steph Curry. Expect a bounce back performance.
Draymond Green ($13,000) has been disappointing in the last two games. He’s a slight risk, but trust him to be a bigger contributor in Game 4. The fact that he can dominate in multiple ways helps his case. Kevin Love ($12,000) has been consistent all series thanks to his rebounding. Meanwhile, Klay Thompson ($11,000) has yet to catch fire. It could always happen, but he’s running out of time.
George Hill ($10,000) played poor in Game 3, a rare poor home game for him. Maybe he flip-flopped Games 2 and 3 and will return to his usual home-self in Game 4. Larry Nance Jr. ($8,500) still offers some upside, but not if he doesn’t get off the bench. Tristan Thompson ($8,500) is the more reliable of the two.
Andre Iguodala ($7,500) returned to the lineup but was still a bit limited. Expect him to be slightly better in Game 4. JaVale McGee ($3,000) remains a strong option as long as he’s starting. Jordan Bell ($6,000) made an impact in Game 3, but it seems doubtful that he scores 10 points again. Shaun Livingston ($6,000) finally missed a shot, but will continue to get solid minutes off the bench.
J.R. Smith ($7,000) was better at home, but did disappear in the second half. I’d still trust him at home. Famous last words. Jeff Green ($7,000) has been invisible since Game 1, but my gut tells me he plays well in Game 4. More famous last words. Kyle Korver ($6,500) is simply untrustworthy. Rodney Hood ($3,000) made the most of his minutes in Game 3 and will continue to get shots in Game 4.
