Denver Broncos – Demaryius Thomas

Only winners get wings! For some reason this Demaryius Thomas commercial from 2013 has stuck with me. When football season comes around, my fiancée gets tired of me quoting this one line from Thomas. As of now, only winners get wings in Fortnite too.

Thomas’ on-field struggles over the past couple seasons have come from having to play with brutal quarterbacks. When you thrive on running under routes and your QB can’t even find you for those, you know things are bad.

In his Fortnite equivalent, Thomas would be the best player on a very bad team. He’s wasting his skills with multiple quarterbacks that can’t get him the ball much like I am wasting my Fortnite skills playing with a squad that can’t finish for W’s (just kidding, team).

The under routes and world class speed make Thomas the squad member that flanks opponent bases in the game. While you put the pressure on from the front, Thomas can beat you out of nowhere.

Once he’s won, the squad get wings (It’s the way he says it. I’m stuck on that phrase).
