Seattle Seahawks – Shaquem Griffin

Uhh. What?

So there are countless jokes here that I am not going to make because I am not a jerk but this has to be more impressive than Griffin’s combine performance, right?

In case you forgot or haven’t been following this offseason, Shaquem Griffin is a linebacker out of National Championship-winning (ha ha!) University of Central Florida, selected by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2018 draft. Oh, and he only has one hand.

At a very young age, Griffin was diagnosed with amniotic band syndrome, which stunted the growth of the fingers on his left hand. At four years of age, he had his hand amputated. Given his football career, his combine performance and his ridiculous Fortnite skills, it hasn’t affected his way of living.

We have yet to see Griffin in action and whether or not he’ll see playing time in 2018 is unknown. What we do know is that Griffin continues to be an inspiration on and off the field for anyone who is playing with a disability. After seeing this, I’d consider him an inspiration to all of the gamers out there as well.
