8,000-9,000

Hideki Matsuyama ($8,900)
After struggles throughout the year, Matsuyama has looked more like himself as of late with his play at the Byron Nelson and the Memorial, where he finished T16 and T13, respectively. The hope is that he can continue that as he has the talent to really compete at the U.S. Open if he does.

Henrik Stenson ($8,800)
Stenson has pretty silently been putting together a phenomenal season thus far, making 12-of-13 cuts throughout the year as a whole. More importantly, he’s been pretty hot as of late with no finishes worse that T26 in his last six outings, a run that includes three showings of T6 or better.

Phil Mickelson ($8,600)
Whenever Mickelson is engaged, you have to watch out for him. He has Shinnecock demons after finishing second in 2004 and he’s going to be out to prove something this week, without question. With the form that he’s been in this season, that could mean an exceptional showing from him in this major.

Branden Grace ($8,400)
Grace’s T52 at the Memorial is annoying when looking at recent play, but his overall body of work throughout the season. With no missed cuts in 18 tournaments played this season in addition to having five top-10s and a win on his record, Grace’s upside is phenomenal and well worth this price for DFS players.

Bryson DeChambeau ($8,300)
This might be the best value on DraftKings for this entire tournament. DeChambeau has been playing the best and most consistent golf of his young career to this point of the season, most recently showing impressive form with a win at the Memorial. If he keeps that up, he could contend for a win at Shinnecock Hills.

Tommy Fleetwood ($8,100)
Fleetwood has been somewhat quiet this season, but not without plenty of success. He’s missed just one cut in 19 starts worldwide and has an incredible eight top-10s to his credit. You have to like the upside that he brings, especially after he was a big shower at Erin Hills last year in the U.S. Open.
